The Fisher Gold Bug 2 is built for gold nugget hunting. Operating at 71 kHz, it is sensitive to small gold nuggets. Its iron disc mode helps reject unwanted iron targets and hot rocks. The detector is designed for field use with resistance to dust and moisture.

Its digital display makes controls easy to read. Convert it to a hip-mount or chest-mount setup to suit your detecting style, and use audio boost for small and deep targets.

At 2.9 lbs, it is comfortable for longer searches. Quartz-crystal locked electronics and dual-adjustment ground control offer coarse and fine-tuning options. The audio jack accepts most headphones with a 1/4" plug. Choose either the 6.5" or 10" search coil option above; both are not included in the single-coil version.
