This narrow DD-format coil provides excellent maneuverability, target separation, and depth. Fully submersible to 16 feet. Weight approximately 1.3 lbs. Includes protective search coil cover.

Note: Updating your Vortex detector to the latest firmware version is critical to ensure proper coil performance and accurate Target ID. The current firmware required for each detector is as follows: Firmware 5.02 or higher for VX5; Firmware 7.02 or higher for VX7; Firmware 9.09 or higher for VX9.

Vortex search coils have a unique waterproof connector and are not compatible with other Garrett detectors. Such as the ACE series, AT detectors, or Apex.
