I started out with a bounty hunter tracker for and in my opinion it's got to be the best beginner metal detector on the market a real turn on and go machine the only bad feature about it is it doesn't have a digital readout, why doesn't Texas instruments make a bounty hunter tracker four with a digital readout? they would probably sell more metal detectors than anyone else for beginners in the world, it is a five Star machine for what it does.
