I was back on my old farm permission here in CT that keeps on giving on a lovely brisk morning. I was running my trusty Anfibio Multi on field mode wide open with the gain around 80. I wasn't swinging that long, when suddenly I got a slamming 87 signal down about 5 inches. To my delight out popped, this lovely B. Ward Beam's Daredevil good luck token from the 1930's! 

    

The front of the token had an awesome image depicting Beam's famous bus leap and the good Lord's prayer on the other side. What a lucky token and cool part of history. I was over the moon with this recovery! Love this hobby!

Trivia about the B. Ward Beam's Daredevil Token

B. Ward Beam (Bert W. Bean, 1892-1979) was a promoter who conceived the thrill show in 1923. He ran automotive thrill shows in the 1930's and 1940's, and also produced "girlie" shows for fairs.

Beam continued to operate at state and county fairs into the late 1950s, but it was Teter who added the precision driving of new automobiles over elevated ramps. The cars did reverse spins, and stuntmen were added to the show to act as daredevil clowns.

Whitehead & Hoag was a company which manufactured medallions and tokens for Daredevil shows.
