Like the AT Gold, the AT Max has been endowed with True All Metal Mode and the Iron Audio, even in the All Metal Mode. (exclusive to Garrett) The AT Max handles conductive soils such as salt water beaches and highly mineralized grounds.
AT Max has Integrated Z-Lynk Wireless Technology, that lets the user cut the cord. The Z-Lynk System allows for a detecting experience freed from head phone cords. Z-Lynk Wireless system also improves speed, with a six times faster response time than ordinary bluetooth, which helps you hear your target signal while the search coil is still over its target.
In creating AT Max, Garrett has listened to their patrons and their requests, and implemented several features brand new to the beloved AT Family, such as but not limited to the Backlight, for increased visibility in low light environments and Larger size Digital Target ID.
